Soli Deo Gloria!

In today’s reading in Ezekiel, we read further evidence that the LORD both blesses and judges all nations appropriately, just as only the LORD can judge a single human heart. In our founding, it is undeniable that God blesses America in a special way. Let’s take a look at Luke 12:48: “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.” Would not this verse apply to nations, as it clearly does forindividual souls?

FYI comment re: American Minute article: Glen Beck, in his biography of George Washington that after a battle, he had a bullet hole through his hat. (no metal helmets in the Continental Army – haha). His troops were of course floored by it. I recall reading a George Washington biography as early as mid-primary years. I have read others since, but Beck’s is my favorite. Once again, it is not about the messenger but the one who sent him…
