01/06/2021 – Celebrate Epiphany!, today Jan. 6th, the 12th day of Christmas… What are the 12 days?: see attached link.
To the Eastern Orthodox Church, this is the most important day of the Christmas season as it celebrates the manifestation of Christ’s glory to the world through the visit of the Magi to the Christ child.
The Greek Orthodox Church counts for 3 of the Patriarchs. Constantinople, Alexandria, Jerusalem and Athens.
Outside of Greece, the other Patriarchs are Antioch, Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania. There are smaller churches that have either an Archbishop or Metropolitan presiding over them.
