People will sometimes ask me how old my computer is. If I answer, “It’s seven months old.” They reply, “Then it’s a dinosaur.” “Oh really?” I reply, “And what kind of computer do you have?” “Well, I’m just about to purchase a new computer with 1000 terabytes. It’s just coming out.” “That’s nice, but I’d give it two months, and you’ve got a dinosaur. All you’re doing is buying a future dinosaur.” The newer something is in this world, the quicker it becomes old. New technology becomes old in a matter of months – New movies, in a matter of weeks – New news, a matter of hours. The newer it is, the quicker it grows old. But there’s one thing that breaks all those rules – the Word of God. The Word of God is, at the latest, two thousand years old, and yet when you receive it, it’s newer than yesterday’s newspaper. And how much is yesterday’s newspaper worth? Nothing. But the Word of God, thousands of years old is as new and as priceless now as it was when it first came out. So what should you be spending your time on?From Message #1270 – Unchangeable
Scripture: Hebrews 13:8TODAY’S MISSION – When you read your Bible today, ask God to show you something new.
