01/26/2023 – Psalms 137 – 139// Verses 139: 23 – 24 – A prayer perhaps to commit to memory, to be prayed daily… Prayer for a pure heart… a lifelong transformation process…
A critical question just came up between me and a brother in Christ: “What should we pray for?” So, I naturally decided to post back to this reading two days ago seeing as how I had it highlighted anyway.
“Search me, O god, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139: 23 – 24. If I am diagnosed with a terminal disease, I think I should pray more fervently on this verse than a prayer for physical healing.

When does life begin? God’s answer: Psalm 139: 13 . Even before conception?, see Jeremiah 1:5. Perhaps a case is to be made, that we didn’t have a beginning, for as the Jeremiah verse begins: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…”
Soli Deo Gloria!
