02/14/2021 – “My Thoughts on Ravi Zacharias’ Moral Failure” (link attached -7 mins)

I have quite a few posts on Ravi Zacharias’ ministry over the past year. I called Nancy last night to share with her the most recent, just posted yesterday, an amazing witness to a young Muslim at the mike in one of Ravi’s many audiences over the years. Nancy conveyed to me what I did not know, that of the revelation of Ravi’s moral failure right after his death in May of last year.

I oftentimes have said: “It is not about the messenger, but the message.” But now, I need to walk that talk, and refuse to allow the Devil to spin me in the least little bit. So, I share with you the words of wisdom from this unnamed minister of the faith in Utah. I took down my post yesterday but for the reasons he addresses here, I may re-post it at some point. (link below – just 7 minutes of your time.) Odds are I suspect that you will be drawing from this wisdom at some point before you leave this earth. I have dealt with it in the past, particularly with the death of my beloved brother “Robbie” (childhood nickname) over a decade ago. And we have been dealing with it again within the family this past year. Again, “no spin”, just Trust in Him and His unfathomable love!

We have our family wedding coming up here in less than two weeks. With my mission on this blog, the wedding, work, I suspect some of you think I am disengaged. Again, why so much time spent on a blog that isn’t read? The only answer I need to concern myself with: Is just obey the Lord!

Always connected by His grace and through prayer! And my hope and mission today includes two posts on Hebrews, our new Sunday study for the next four weeks. It is another example of in dire thirst, taking a drink from a fire hose. (lol)

Love,

Jimmy
