How to Open The Gates of God

“Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His faithful love endures forever.” 1 Chronicles 16:34

It is written, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.” These words contain a secret and a key. To enter the gates of the Lord, you need the keys of the Lord. So, the Scripture can be understood as saying, “The only way you will truly enter the gates of the Lord is with thanksgiving.” Giving thanks is the key that unlocks the gates of the Lord. It doesn’t matter what’s blocking you, if you give thanks to God, you will start entering in. When you give thanks, it’s impossible to be gloomy and impossible to worry. When you give thanks, it’s impossible to dwell in condemnation. When you give thanks, you can’t be unhappy. When you give thanks, you enter His joy and His peace. When you give thanks, it’s hard not to worship. Do you want to enter the gates of the Lord, the gates of joy, the gates of peace and worship? Start right now. You have the key – enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
