Across many countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, it is the same story : Completely unprotected christians and the world has not paid attention going back to 1994, remembering the Hutu-Tutsi massacre with an estimated one million dead. Just imagine, there are only roughly 5 million souls left within DRC borders. 6 million killed since 1998! I couldn’t believe it but I saw it again in another article from a credible source.

What percentage of people here in the U.S. do you think are even aware of this?

Check me on this: DRC is 95% christian. Islam? About 1 – 2%. Both Uganda and Nigeria are predominately christian as well.

Christian Post article – Feb25. (Just one in the latest of a sad horrific human tragedy)

We need global intentional prayer. The UN is under the control of the Devil and his minions. One of my ongoing prayers is that the U.S. leave the U.N. and reorganize into an alliance of countries that honor God and God’s sovereignty over innocent human life. (Countries that come to mind: Israel; Argentina; Hungary; Poland; Iceland; Switzerland; Finland; New Zealand. A 2/3 vote to be admitted and a 2/3 vote to be removed.) “If there is no God, there is no morality.” (Dostoevsky). The alliance would protect all faiths not perpetrating violence.

Pray for Iran and revolution. It is not inconceivable that the growing Christian underground church there could not play a significant part in toppling the evil Islamic theocracy government in the near future, the mere messengers of the Lord.

Our 2nd amendment is an excellent contributory factor for preventing rogue evil autocratic governments. That is if we focus on solid Christian fellowship and cohesiveness within communities and beyond, globally as in “one body in Christ.” We don’t have to attend the same churches on Sunday. I have the deepest respect for pacifist Christians, Amish and Mennonites being two examples. But I am not a pacifist, much as we are one in Christ.

Join me in signing the Open Doors Petition (link above). How can it make a difference? That is why we pray!

In closing, I am reminded of a debate that Dennis Prager had years ago with two pagan leftist (future christians) students from Berkeley, amongst a hostile audience on campus. At the very end, he quietly concluded with: “I think I break down all our differences in one sentence: ‘You believe man is basically good, do you not?’ ” Both students nodded.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Commentary add on dated 03/08/2025 – 6:23 pm:

This integrates within our Day 251 bible study today in the short three chapters of Joel. So, perhaps if you want to explore the connection, I invite you to look at that prospective post: God willing, by e.o.d. tomorrow 03/09/2025. I will share with you an excerpt from “The Apologetics Study Bible” commentary on Joel Chapter Two, Verses 18 – 27 : “God is ultimately behind everything that takes place, orchestrating the course of history, even when injustice is seemingly allowed to prevail.”

Ok – My reflection which might produce some fruitful fellowship: Does that last sentence mean that we shouldn’t fight against the genocide of christians? My answer: Absolutely Not, God forbid! If I and/or we are martyrd in that valiant fight, God is glorified preceding the end eternal result: “We can’t lose, because God can’t lose!” Trust Him and obey!
