03/07/2025 – Day 250 – Proverbs 22 / “By humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches and honor and life.” Proverbs 22:4
Commentary on 22:4 from “The Evidence Bible NKJV”:
“22:4. Those who refuse to humble themselves will eventually lose their possessions, their dignity, and their very life. However, those who walk in humility of heart and obey God store up an eternal treasure in heaven. They will preserve their life and be honored by God Himself. See John 12:25.”
“He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow me, and where I am , there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” (John 12:25)
