03/09/2024 – Leviticus – Chapter 25 – Sabbath Years and Jubilee / Miracles behind the Jubilee Years in Recent History – Part 2 of 2 of “You Will be amazed!”

First, read Leviticus, Chapter 25 if you are not familiar with God’s directives to the Israelites regarding: 1). Allowing the land to lie fallow every seventh year to recognize that the Lord is the ultimate owner of the land; and, 2) The Year of Jubilee, the fiftieth year (following the seventh sabbatical year) *

• My Apologetics Bible study footnote adds: “Thus, when the Jubilee was celebrated the land would remain uncultivated for two consecutive years.”

Thanks to brother Greg, of our Wednesday bible study, that pointed us this past Wednesday to Leviticus, Chapter 25, in conjunction with our study of Daniel, Chapter 9! Once again: “It takes a village!”, to state the obvious!

Second, check out Jonathan Cahn’s article (link below) on the amazing connective miracles from the last four Jubilee years. “Connective” in the sense that there is an illustration of “messenger(s)” that played a role in not one, but two jubilee years… The story of how Mark Twain unknowingly played a role in 1867 in fulfilling the prediction of Nachmanides from exactly 600 years prior. I actually had read “Innocents Abroad” in my teenage years, Twain’s recounting of his journey to the promised land.

I first was introduced to Jonathan Cahn, post 9/11, at a large church in Houston. His message was that America needed to repent much along the lines of Daniel’s prayer for Israel in Daniel , chapter nine, recognizing of course that America is not a covenant nation. I would submit that Luke 12:48 can and does apply to nations. And the Bible is replete with examples of God’s judgment on other nations outside of Israel. I think I may be done with: “God Bless America”, instead: “America Bless God!” The Lord our God commanded Jeremiah not to pray for Israel, not once but three times, just prior to the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. (see Jeremiah 7:16; 11:14; 14:1)

If you are interested, you can go to Amazon and search on “Jonathan Cahn books”. I have read three of them. His book covering this post is: “The Oracle: The Jubilean Mysteries Unveiled”. His latest book is: “The Josiah Manifesto: The Ancient Mysteries & the Guide of the End Times was published this past September. I haven’t read this book, not that I haven’t wanted to, it is just that I reach a point from time to time when eschatology conflicts with my call to “The Great Commission”. But still, it is conceivable that I might get to it. Jonathan’s next book: “The Dragon’s Prophecy” is due out this coming September.
