Faith As A Weapon of War

Paul said, “I have fought the good fight of faith.” You see, it’s not enough to have faith, you need to have fighting faith. You need a faith that does battle, that overcomes, and that brings victory. How do you apply fighting faith? You use faith as a weapon. You wield it against that which goes against faith. You use your faith to battle against discouragement, against temptation, against hopeless situations, against doubt. Without a fight, there can be no victory. It’s when it’s hard- hard to be encouraged, hard to keep going, hard to be strong- that you need fighting faith. And that’s real faith. You can’t win without a fight. Put your faith where your life is. Messiah did not die on the cross so you would only have faith. He died so you would have fighting faith, overcoming faith, battling faith, victorious faith. You have the most powerful weapons at your disposal. By this weapon you will have victory where you never had it before. Use it.
