03/15/2021 – Day 302 – Acts 11 -12 // Nameless Pioneers of Christ

0

It is difficult to pick out one section, even in just a two chapter reading. But perhaps it may seem strange to pick out 11: 19-21 as we are told of nameless Christian warriors from Cyprus and Cyreen going to Antioch for the express purpose of witnessing to the Greeks in that city.

As William Barclay notes in his Acts commentary; “What the Church has always needed, perhaps more than anything else, in people who never care who gains the credit for it so long as the work is done. These men may not have written their names in men’s books of history; but they have writtin them forever in God’s Book of Life.”
