03/31/2023 – Gospel of John Fellowship – Chapter 15 / Have you ever wondered what it will be like to love perfectly for all of eternity?
To me, this verse breeches unfathomably sublime territory as well: “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does no know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit — fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other,” John 15: 15-17
Here is John Gill’s commentary on 15:15:

I encourage y’all to search on the post from our last cycle, dated “03/31/2021”. I repeat here the quote from John Calvin: “Those hearts must be harder than iron or stone which are not softened by such incomparable sweetness of divine love..”
Continued prayers for Nashville, for those who lost loved ones for this life, a breath that suddenly seems ever so painfully long. And continued prayers for our loved ones who are still waiting for that glorious reunion day!
Soli Deo Gloria!
Your brother in Christ,
Jimmy
