This sermon was by way of Brother Clif . John appropriately notes points out up front that “Worship is meditating on God’s providence.” As a sidenote, I noticed this post was from Ligonier Ministries , and sure enough this sermon is delivered I believe to R.C. Sproul’s home church. I won’t look it up but I think R.C. Sproul went home to the Lord about a year ago now. (I usually underestimate the time) R.C. and John were indeed really close, despite their differences in theological interpretations. And that produced some fascinating instructive debates, bearing in mind they were both grounded from the same Christian warrior foundation.

Isaiah 6 is the core in this message with connecting points to Acts 14 and Romans 1. I think this message also connects well with my post this past week of Douglas Wilson’s interview, titled : “The decade ahead…” Both speak to the insanity of our world. This message sets a scriptural foundation , as we place ourselves in Isaiah’s shoes and see that we too are reliving in similar times of God’s judgment. Connecting to Wilson’s interview, we are charged with focusing on fighting on , where we are to God’s glory, for we know we win in the end by His grace. There isn’t room for worldly prosperity gospel in God’s Truth, particularly so and obvious in these times. As Jesus proclaimed: We can’t marry up love for the world to the core from which all Truth connects: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” (Deuteronomy 6:5)

Soli Deo Gloria! Don’t miss this core foundational message….. Blessings!
