04/19/2024 – “What is Christian Nationalism?” as tagged by the pagans. / Let’s look at it’s opposite: 1 Thessalonians 5: 1 -11
These verses are under the section: “The Day of the Lord”:
“About the times and the seasons: brothers, you do not need anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know very well that the Day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. When they say, ‘Peace and security,’ then sudden destruction comes on them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in the dark, so that this day would overtake you like a thief. For you are all sons of light and sons of the day. We’re not of the night or of the darkness. So then, we must not sleep like the rest, but we must stay awake and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But since we are of the day, we must be sober and put the armor of faith and love on our chests, and put on a helmet of the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or *asleep we will live together with Him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.”
This is not about politics but a spiritual battle that has been going on since the creation of man. Who is God?; Who is man?; What is our relationship to God and what is our purpose in this life?
So, what is the opposite of so called “Christian Nationalism”. Is it not pagan globalism? And for those of us currently that belong to “sons of the light”, is that not an obvious tool of the Devil, who knows he is running out of time. The Devil is not a Marxist, he just keep’s using the same old evil tools to lead souls astray and to destroy. I recall a line in an exchange between Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday concerning a psychopathic killer: Wyatt: “What makes him so insanely angry? Holiday: “He is angry at being born.”
So, I repeat a biblically rock solid excerpt from Peter Kreeft’s “How to be Holy”:
“God loves us more than we love ourselves. God’s deepest desire is for our peace and joy. We can’t lose , because God can’t lose! Insofar as we believe that identity, we will love His will as we love our own. We will then fully embrace it and become holy.”
I am a Christian! I don’t need another tag to go along with it for God is fully sovereign and there is not any direction that I can turn in life that He doesn’t speak to. Another example: “social justice” – beware of adjectives in front of “justice”, for it derives from Satan as well. If I am grounded in prayer and in His Word, it goes without saying that I am much harder to fool. (recognizing : sanctification is a life long growth process)
