Magnifico! – Soli Deo Gloria!

As I have noted on ocassion , Do you remember this movie line of so many years ago: “E.T. – Home!”

Amidst the vitrole of this evil world , the Kingdom of God is here! And in a breath, we will be immersed in our eternal home where evil will be completely eradicted. So we fight to His glory in this breath we have left, a sublime privilege , a window of opportunity that will never ever be available again. But for now, take a momentary break from the fight and just imagine what heaven will be like, in the presence of Almighty God, the eternal agape love dance of the Triune God. And we will be as one!, forget about all the division and hate that is preached here by the devil’s minions. Done!

Enjoy this interlude, I give you “Benedictus”, a worthy repeat post from April 25, 2020 , over a year ago.

“Benedictus” by Karl Jenkins and featuring: World reknowned Celloist artist Stjepan Hauser from Croatia. And the Elizabeth Fuchs, the conductor is great/ ditto for the youth choir! (link to this 8 minute production – bottom of page)

And here is the link – the fascinating background and story behind “Benedictus”https://www.classicfm.com/composers/jenkins/benedictus-karl-jenkins-analysis/

The words in Latin are “Benedictus Dominus Deus Israel”, translated “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel”.  I believe they refer to the words that Zechariah first spoke, regaining his speech, on the birth of his son, John the Baptist. (Check me on that)

Enjoy! Soli Deo Gloria indeed! Always connected by His grace and through prayer!
