This morning’s devotional from Oswald Chambers reminded me so much of Liisa, he chose God’s best over just good, at the cost of his life, even after repeated threats not to preach the gospel to Muslims. He told his mother “that his life was I the hands of God and that he was called to carry out the preaching of the gospel of Christ.”
“No, in all these we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all of creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8: 37 – 39
