My Apologetics Study Bible footnote on this section:
“2: 8-14. The main point of the passage is Rahab’s confession of faith in the Lord. She acknowledged (1) His divine providence in Israel’s possession of Canaan. (2) His presence in Israel’s exodus and migration through the wilderness, and (3) the Lord’s sovereignty over the universe.”

Matthew 1:5 that we just read on day 1: Rahab is the great great grandmother of King David!, the genealogy of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour! Her story is our shared story, a transformation of a life of sin to one of righteousness.
