I would like to share with you a testimony from Joni Earackson Tada:

Here is Joni’s ten words that changed everything about her suffering: ““God permits what he hates to accomplish what he loves.”

Here is short interview with Joni on her life story:

Thoughts? My answer is no!; it was not unfair for God to allow Job to suffer… Two attributes of God: 1) His Holiness; and 2) He is unfathomable, in no small part with regard to His power and His love for us. He is omnibenevolent: He wills our greatest joy. God’s deepest desire is for our peace and joy. We can’t lose because God can’t lose… (*A)

(*A): “How to be Holy” by Peter Kreeft

One thing I don’t get is those who say Job was rewarded with worldly riches far beyond what he had before. Sorry, I don’t get it. 1). If I lose one child in this world, it doesn’t make any difference how many children I have later, nothing can replace that child. My love is nothing compared to God’s capacity for love. So, just imagine that infinity multiplier!, God’s unfathomable love for each of us individually, his children!

Soli Deo Gloria!
