06/18/2022 – Day 111 – Jeremiah – Chapters 17-21 // Chapter 20 – Jeremiah is our warrior mentor! : If you are struggling, no worries, give Him the glory amidst the turmoil, in the assurance of upcoming and forever victory by His grace!

A brother shared this with us within our local base camp. Let’s connect up and support one another for the impregnable remnant force that we are called to be. Our foundation is fellowship in His Word and prayer as one body in Christ! We must be sheepdogs that protect the sheep against the wolves.

So, what about the preacher’s question at the end of this short clip?: “Is it all falling apart or is it all coming together?” I would submit it is clearly the later. For it is all about His kingdom, which is here and now. lasting forever. Complete and final victory over evil is just a breath away, the relative breath remaining for this evil world.

Buddy notes an upcoming unholy vengeance , a recognition that it is a suicide ,for our former life will be dead. I say: “Halleluhah!” And i disagree with “unholy” and “vengeance” (The Lord says: “Vengeance is mine”) As a t-shirt of mine reads: “Normal is not coming back; Jesus is!” We must die to self in the process of metamorphoo (Greek for you guessed it), as in caterpillar to butterfly. Let me share with you a verse I struggled with in my teens, but no more, by the grace of God!: “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.” (Mark 8:35)

Amen Buddy! Can we please stop the sick delusion that we are still the “United” States of America. Up to this point, we are talking spiritual warfare. We do not dance with the Devil! I recall with fondness the memory of my brief fellowship connection with a Mennonite community in SW VIrginia of years past. I have always respected Christian pacifists. But, I was not a pacifist when I served in the U.S. Army almost 50 years ago, nor am I one now. My aged warrior mentor is Caleb of the bible. The best of men are men at best, but pick a mentor that is currently way over your head, seemingly out of reach, and strive relentedly to reach it before your last breath in this world. Carpe Diem!

I echo Buddy’s resolve and hope: We must not let the devil spin us for the apparent struggle we have faced and will continue to face. It just enhances the opportunity to give glory to our God. We become stronger through it. Just look at our mentor Jeremiah in Chapter 20. If we think we are out-numbered, look at Jeremiah. Can we find a single warrior brother there say like Jonathan was for David? Jeremiah’s calling was pretty isolated with enemies all around him. But we strive to build a remnant Christian community with no lack of supportive Jonathans.

Ephesians 6:13!

Soli Deo Gloria!

Your brother in Christ,

Jimmy
