My Apologetics Study Bible footnote to 6: 1-4 reads: “Job’s perception of God as his enemy (see 13:24; 33:10), who like a cosmic warrior was shooting poison-tipped arrows into him, was colored by his intense suffering. It was far from objective or accurate. God is neither mean-spirited nor arbitrary with people. God is perfectly just in all of His dealings (Deuteronomy 32:4; Deuteronomy 9:14; Revelation 16:5).”
