Let’s look at some Bildad criticism directed at Job:
“If you were pure and upright, Surely now He would awake for you, And prosper your rightful dwelling place. Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.” Job 8: 6 – 7
Commentary from “The Evidence Bible”:
8:6,7. “Beware of those who believe that God prospers us according to our righteousness. Most billionaires aren’t the slightest bit godly.”
‘Prosperity gospel’ is just full of endless contradiction examples in life.
Just look at the Bible verses under: “sharing in the suffering of Christ”; or, why do ‘good’ people suffer? (link below)

Conversely, look at David’s Psalms for examples of people thriving in terms of this world, in spite of their evil ways.
