Last cycle’s post covers excerpts from every chapter, with commentary from various sources, so I recommend a quick perusal of that post dated 04/02/2022.

Covering new ground, I am being more laser focused by focusing on 25: 8 – 9:

“He will swallow up death forever. And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people. He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken. And it will be said I that day: ‘Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him: We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.” Isaiah 25: 8 – 9

Here is Matthew Henry’s commentary on Chapter 25 in its complete version. You can zero in on these 2 verses:

Also, another solid choice: Check out my commentary on 25:8 for “The Evidence Bible:

“We are in a battle that we cannot lose through the cross, death has been swallowed up in victory! The day will come when death, disease, pain, fear, loneliness, etc, will be gone forever. Never be discouraged for a moment. Soak your soul in 1 Corninthians 15: 54 – 58; Revelation 21:4”

Check out both of these verses! Do we really believe what we say we believe is really true? Look at Revelation 21:4:

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will exist no longer; grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer; grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer, because the previous things have passed away.”

Soli Deo Gloria indeed!

Your brother in Christ,

Jimmy
