This runs over one hour; it is rich! Nancy and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Without too much exaggeration, this would be like early church leaders huddled around Paul and Peter just before their martyrdom. To the side, there are many humorous antidotes here. I think John MacArthur cherishes his face-to-face reunions with John Piper because Piper makes him laugh like no one else.
The interviewer will note that given the hundreds of books written by each of these “grizzled” preachers, each has one book that they are going to be most known for. Those two are:
