Matthew Henry, within his commentary for 57: 7 through 11 notes:

“David in his psalms, which fill the universal church, and will to the end of time, may be said to be still praising God among all the people and singing to him among the nations; for all good people make use of his words in praising God.”

In 57:5 , repeated in 57:11: Why does David ask in prayer for something he already believes is a given? In the ACTS prayer types acronym: Adoration / Confession / Thanksgiving / Supplication , is it possible to praying all four in this one sentence prayer?

Soli Deo Gloria!
