07/19/2025 – Day 363 – Revelation – Chapters 18 – 22 / Post 2 of 2 – continuation from Song of Songs yesterday. // The certainty of incomprehensible unfathomable joy just a breath away…
Today, I will again quote from Peter Kreeft’s “Three Philosophies of Life”, page #s 139 & 140, the end of the book:
“The end of the story of all Creation, all time and history, is prophesied here, as it is at the end of Revelation. Here is how God’s love story ends: with endless life and love and heavenly marriage:
‘Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth has passed away, and the sea [symbolic of death] was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Behold, the dwelling of God is with men. He will dwell with them. and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away.’ And he who sat upon the throne said, ‘Behold I make all things new.’ Also, he said, ‘Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true.’ And he said to me, ‘It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give water without price from the fountain of the water of life’ (Revelation 21: 1-6).
Did you hear that? Without payment! Our only qualification is thirst. The incredible offer is repeated again in Revelation 22:17:
‘The Spirit and the Bride [the Church] say, ‘Come.’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let him who is thirsty come, let him who desires take the water of life without price.‘
Eternal joy, marriage to God, is ‘without price’ because Love has already paid the price, on Calvary.
Love, you see, can do anything. Love alone can fill Ecclesiastes’ emptiness – and yours. Love alone can satisfy Job’s question – and yours.”

Comment:
As Peter Kreeft, the mere messenger notes in his book: “How to be Holy”:
“We can’t lose, because God can’t lose! Insofar as we believe that identity, we will love His will as we love our own. We will then fully embrace it and become holy.”
The Apostle Paul noted that if we christians are wrong, we are the most pathetic creatures that have ever lived. With his birth, death on the cross and resurrection on the 3rd day, he fulfilled over 300 Bible prophecies pronounced many years prior. On top of that, Paul noted that “the risen Christ appeared to more than 500 brothers at once, in effect, inviting the Corinthians to check this out if they wished as many would have still been alive at the time of his writing. (see 1 Corinthians 5: 5 – 11) But we “current christians” don’t need that evidence anymore, for we have an indwelling Holy Spirit within us. We witness the Good News to “future christians”. In eternal reality, there is no difference between “current” and “future”.

Always connected through prayer and by His grace! Keep beloved “future christians” on your prayer list and don’t ever let go! Do we really believe what we say we believe is really true?
Love,
Your brother in Christ,
