08/10/2023 – Eric Metaxas interview of John Lennox – My words: “I don’t have enough faith to be an atheist!”
And Eric and John both mention James M. Tour, a world renowned scientist from Rice University, particularly in Nanotechnology. It is not about the messenger, but John and James are gifted with genius, but characterized up-front as “humble” to all fellow souls.
I encourage y’all to read the attached links giving mere summaries to John’s and James’ missions that glorify God. I attended a special visit talk from John at Highland Park Presbyterian in Dallas about seven years ago. And to whom much is given much is required: I met Dr. Tour in a small men’s bible study discussion group in Houston, that being say around 20 years ago. Dr. Tour and another scientist from M.D. Anderson chatted like a couple of kids at Christmas about how a 7 day creation and an earth billions of years old are not necessarily imcompatible from a scientific perspective using Einstein’s theory of relativity. Amazing , now that I recall it, in that they were actually talking two-way, but at the same time speaking to the scientific knowledge level of the rest of us at the same time, albeit just teasing us with the marvel and wonder of it all. haha Come on, join us! For me to sit at that table, of all tables that day, was random. Or maybe it wasn’t….
This ties in with my post today on Ruthless Trust, they just seem to have collided mysteriously in my day almost simoultaneously.
Soli Deo Gloria!
