09/11/2025 – R.I.P Charlie!; We’ll see you again soon, just a relative breath away, in His unfathomable everlasting Kingdom! / 2 Corinthian 2: 14-15 // God’s everlasting love – nothing can separate us!: Romans 8: 31 – 39

Charlie had 80 million viewers on social media. Yet, There are millions of christians I suspect in this country alone that have never heard of him. Every presenter last night on TBN prayed for all of us as His one body in Christ. As was noted, darkness is not a force, it is rather simply the absence of light. So, let us go out and shine a light on those souls presently lost in pitch darkness.
Charlie knew of the risks in speaking to thousands in an open area outside venue. But he gave up what he could not keep for what he would never lose, eternal salvation. He kept on keeping on as if each day was his last day here. I agree with those who said that the devil has “overplayed his hand” here once again. It is not about the messenger but I suspect Charlie’s legacy message will proliferate in death many times over the amazing legacy he left as a young man in just the past decade.
From the enemy’s perspective, they couldn’t beat Charlie so they murdered him. Charlie constantly faced hostile audiences. He would return vitriol responses with a smile. He disarmed many. Jesus used Socratic Dialogue, and so did Charlie. He would have signs in back of him that read: “You have been brainwashed.” But the light broke through to many of our youth who knew nothing but darkness until that point. They experienced a lesson on “how to think” as opposed to “what to think”. (Romans 12:2)
Once good habits gain a foothold, we should never let go. One such personal example for me: I keep my prayer list on an excel spreadsheet. Could I pray for 900 souls in one day? Then it occurred to me: What if I prayed for 30 each day on a monthly basis. What I have found is there are two categories that seem to remain on the growing list: 1) Those in need of accepting Christ as their Savior; and 2) Those fellow souls in grief who have lost loved ones. Even with the strongest of faith, that grief remains until our last breath. With that in mind, I urge y’all to pray for Charlie’s lovely wife Erica, and their two children: a three year old daughter and a one year old son.
SolI Deo Gloria!
