09/15/2015 – “Man once surrendering his reason, has no remaining guard against absurdities the most monstrous, and like a ship without rudder, is the sport of every wind.” Source: Letter of Thomas Jefferson to James Smith, 1822. And see more from another one of our “non-christian” founders.
200 years after writing this to James Smith , it epitomizes our U.S. government. Jefferson would say I expect that we are long past due a revolution. Live free or die!
Thomas Jefferson
3rd U.S. President, Drafter and Signer of the Declaration of Independence
“God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever…”
—Notes on the State of Virginia, Query XVIII, p. 237.
“I am a real Christian – that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ.”–The Adams Writings of Thomas Jefferson, p. 385.
Put aside for whether or not these so called “non-christian founding fathers of our country are saved. I will leave that to Almighty God. But they were grounded in Christian worldview education and trivium methodology at a very early age. They were taught how to think, not what to think as is the case with our present day public pagan gulag system. And it shows up in the results from both ends!
Soli Deo Gloria!
