Great article – it was fun to read. I’ve noted this before in the blog, but regarding Rev. Muhlenberg who commented how the Lord our God marvelously preserved George Washington as his chosen vessel:
Glen Beck wrote an excellent book on George Washington, that goes to the top of the list on biographies on Washington in my opinion. But he notes in the books unbelievable miracles where Washington came out of a battle unscathed but his jacket had bullet holes in his jacket or hat that should have killed him. But not to have even received a wound?
Also, I am definitely on the side of the Puritans, not the Pietists. lol. Politics is not our Savior but there is no direction in life we can walk, that God does not speak to.
