10/22/2025 – “My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways.” Isaiah 55:8 // Bible reading: John 10: 1-18 // Comments below: Thoughts? / Reflections? / Prayer?
“God is the Potter; we are the clay. He’s the shepherd; we are the sheep. He’s the Master; we are the servants. No matter how educated we are, no matter how much power and influence we may think we have, none of that qualifies us to grasp the first particle of why He does what He does when he does it and how He chooses to do it.”

“A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it in abundance.” John 10:10 (*)
(*): Commentary on this verse from “The Apologetics Study Bible”:
“In context, this is no promise of health, wealth, or easy living by worldly standards. The abundant Christian life means salvation (v. 9) in this world, however, it may involve martyrdom (15:13).” – linking to:
“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel will save it.” Mark 8:35 (see also Luke 9:24 / Matthew 16:25). NOTE: The life given up is just a relative “breath” (mathematically – the limit -0- relative to eternity), the life given to us by Yeshua the Christ is eternal. We can’t lose, only because God Almighty can’t lose!
Soli Deo Gloria!
