Continuing on: “.. In a prisoner of war camp filled with the desperate and dying, where hope fades with the light of each day, the light of Christ shines through the actions of a simple yet heroic Catholic priest from Kansas.

I would recommend working from the menu bar – top left to right. Thanks again Lenny!

Love,

Your brother in Christ,

Jimmy

Thanks for posting the story of Emil Kapuan. What first caught my attention was during his eulogy the speaker stated that the conduct of Kapuan was seen as a model. President Eisenhower want to establish a Code of Conduct for the behavior of US POW’s. Some wanted it to be lax, stating that a prisoner should give in after a few weeks because it didn’t matter after that point. Others wanted US POWS to keep resisting and never give in. It was stated that Fr. Kapuan’s conduct influenced the current Code Of Conduct. Nowadays everyone needs to read the Code of Conduct at least once.
