11/16/2022 – Day 264 – Proverbs 25

“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.” Proverbs 25:2

I marked this verse as a lookup verse because I thought it was deeper than the pass through reading. So, I looked up John Gill’s commentary, and , sure enough, John the messenger did not disappoint:

“Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone.” Proverbs 25:15

I would comment that there is a pre-condition imperative of fervent prayer , particularly in our evil world today. So prayer, then act courageously.
