The link above is to the 2022 Report for the Rafiki Foundation. Nancy and I have sponsored five children over the past two decades, and what a joy it has been. Sponsorships call for a minimum of $ 25 per month, in order to start a pen pall relationship with a child in the orphanage or the day care center, where children are immersed in classical Christian eduction. Two decades ago, we started with Lydia, from kindergarten, seeing her through the first Rafiki class to go all the way through college. Lydia is an amazing young lady; she is a Christian warrior in Nigeria. And we received a wedding announcement this past year.
Full financial support for an orphaned child is $ 250 per month. Michael, the current young man in his junior year in Uganda, came into the Rafiki Village at twenty months as an orphan. With these Rafiki kids , we feel that we have received so much more than we have given. Our most important contribution is to keep these kids in prayer.
