We got the 100,000 or so required signatures to get it on the ballot! The proposition will read: “Texas reasserts itself as a free and independent nation.” This would be an impactful step #1 of a pain-staking process. Check me on this, but I seem to recall that there have been 140 nation states created in the last century.
Politics is not our Savior! What is the case for the proposition then?:
Unlike Israel, America will not survive beyond the 2nd coming. Nor will the new Republic of Texas. Through God’s messengers, America’s founding fathers, we were blessed with a God honoring system that mirrors foundational Christian principles. With regard to TEXIT, we aren’t the side that has radically departed from the founder’s core God honoring tenets. To remain, is to self commit ourselves into an evil schizophrenic syncretism of the worst kind, a delusional attempt to honor God and the devil simultaneously. We glorify God in all aspects of our life, including government by the people for the people. So, obviously, my hope is that more states will follow the independence path process, back to a God honoring foundation. It is hard painstaking life-long work!; Praise God!

We’ll cross that bridge if and when we get to it. But may I suggest the movie: “The Free State of Jones” starring Matthew McConaughy, a true story in Mississippi at the tail end of the Civil War. The Lord’s transformation process builds out from the remnant Christian family: neighbors, local community, county, state,… Maranatha!
