I am posting this for comments and reflections. My hope is I can come back before the end of the day and put some context into John Rich’s statement reported by Christian Post. For the remnant church, it isn’t easy, obviously impossible without the Lord our God, but we need to wrestle with it amongst all the muck in the foxhole. And far beyond that even, we need to get out of the foxholes and face the fire to recover lost ground as his messengers. True story: A D-Day commander on Omaha Beach, with troops tied up on the beach just a few steps in (paraphrased): “Gentlemen, there are two kinds of people pinned down on this beach: The dead and those who are about to die!”
“Disciple to Convert” – Jesus’ model and the model used by the fastest growing remnant churches in the world right now, not the failed model of the west – “Convert to Disciple”. With that later model, you get a congregation filled with old guys like myself, who have been in the pews their whole life on Sunday and when then leave, their walk is indistinguishable with that of all the those lost souls, future christians, caught up in Satan’s evil world.
There you have it, flawed that it may be are my prayers and reflections…
