01/14/2025 – “We get into the habit of living before acquiring the habit of thinking.” Albert Camus (1913 – 1960)
I expect Albert Camus was what I call a “future Christian” his entire life. The hope is that he was saved just before the buzzer like the thief on the cross. So, this would be called “common grace”. Just one strong piece of evidence here:
“Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2)

Satirical note: Throughout my 40 year+ career, an increasingly common remark I heard: “Jimmy, you are thinking too much!” Perhaps it hindered what otherwise would have been my upward mobility through the corporate chain. If so, Praise be to God! So, indeed, I resonate with Albert’s quote. haha. Perhaps I was reading too much Puritan theology in my off-time…
