Semikkah7 Annual Plan

The Semikkah7 Annual Plan takes you through the Bible in one year. Each day of the week is assigned a theme so that you are reading from various portions of the Bible each week. (*) You can download the plan as PDF or Excel to print and keep in your Bible.

(*) – See daily themes with the books of the Bible covered in sequence through the year, below – bottom of the page.

We now have at least one posting for all daily reading assignments, Day 1 through Day 365. If you logon, you can use the search function to quickly zero in on a particular day, for example: “Day 365” results will show all posts in history to the “Day 365” reading in Jude.

A testimony to: “I am a mess” but I am a redeemed mess:

When I set up the blog website, I wanted to name it after the mystery of Semikhah as explained here in Jewish tradition that the priests would lay their hands on the sacrifice and confess their sins over it, and by doing so, they and the people would become one with the sacrifice. Unfortunately, I misspelled it. So, as Jonathan notes up front, we performed the “Semikhah” when we were “born again” through Yeshua the Christ. Thereby, our sins were imputed to him, and His righteousness was imputed to us. Amazing Grace! Over and over again, a mystery that carries over from early in Jewish tradition to the Messiah.

And this mystery is Day 329 in Jonathan Cahn’s daily devotional – The Book of Mysteries. He had more amazing mysteries to share but he ran out of days. I encourage you to look over the posting dated 10/09/2021 – “The Mystery of the Semikhah”, a presentation by Jonathan Cahn. Log on and use your search tool to quickly call that post up. It beats toggling though 30 pages or so of posts in reverse sequential order. And by the way, I highly recommend this daily devotional for the top of your bed stand. The discipline is to keep to “one day at a time”.
