Ok, Why is Jimmy going back 94 days now. Well, I missed Alistair’s live stream sermon last Sunday and this happens to be it.

I will give you here the bible verse that is a summary theme for this sermon. It crosses over from David’s time to our time day, that being Romans 15:4: “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.”

Alistair recalls in England at the end of WW2 when someone would bemoan the fact that they couldn’t get two dozen eggs. And the resounding reply would be: “What’s wrong with you man! ; Don’t you know that there is a war on !?! Well, we have a war going on too. But we know how it is going to end:

Philippians 2:9: “Therefore , God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shoudl bow , of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Another one of my 24 memory verses…
