01/27/2022: Praying the Psalms: Psalms 82 thru 84 / See comments
Psalm 82 : 4-5 : “Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them fom the hand of the wicked. They know nothing, they understand. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.”
Psalm 84:2 “My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out “
Psalm 84:12: “O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.”
Right in the middle of the reading, the Holy Spirit prompted me to pray for three young men that I witnessed to dating back from four months to many years, in chronological order,dating back four months to over a decade : Jeremiah of Kenya, who we have sponsored through Rafiki International Ministries / Cedric of Tulsa / Sebastian of Dallas. I highly suspect the Holy Spirit is not going to let me forget their names. Soli Deo Gloria indeed! But such is the nature of praying the Psalm: Amidst the praying of the Psalms, God’s prayer for us through His word, there is a spontaneous love fellowship with Our Lord: one on one!
