It is not about the messenger, but when I am looking for an embellishment shower of truth from a single verse, or just a few, John Gill is my closer. haha As I have noted, I’ll meet him at the gate!

So, yes indeed, we share in the sufferings of Christ. Yeshua did not lose the faith when he screamed: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me.” He is God but he was man through unimaginable suffering. Think about it, Yeshua throughout all of eterntiy of that time, experienced fully the unfathomable agape perfect love of the trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit circling one another. And in taking our sin on the cross, for the first moment in eternity, the Father went dark on Him. None of us will suffer anything approaching that, but we are called to share in the sufferings of Christ. And indeed, rest assured, He will not forsake us! Soli Deo Gloria!
