A thank you to Hinauri Petana who posted underneath this hymn. I trust she is a Samoan sister in Christ. (her post is a year or two dated)

The song acknowledges Christ is my joy because He loves me, He saved me and my heart is therefore with with Him, my Saviour and Redeemer. Glory to God. Thank you for the selection. This may be six years on, but the power of this hymn is so full of truth and liberating it is one of the most treasured of Samoan hymns. Most treasured when you are away from home and about to embark on a journey, you sing in faith and respect knowing that you are under His wing. No matter what happens the truth remains, you are HIS.Show less
