I have earlier select pieces in this blog under the “favorites” category. But going forward, I will target to post selections three times weekly as follows:

Sunday evening / Tuesday evening / Friday morning

“Benedictus” by Karl Jenkins and featuring: World reknowned Celloist artist Stjepan Hauser from Croatia. And the Elizabeth Fuchs, the conductor is great/ ditto for the youth choir! (link to this 8 minute production – bottom of page)

And here is the link – the fascinationg background and story behind “Benedictus”

The words in Latin are “Benedictus Dominus Deus Israel”, translated “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel”.  I believe they refer to the words that Zechariah first spoke, regaining his speech, on the birth of his son, John the Baptist. (Check me on that)

Enjoy! Soli Deo Gloria indeed!
