Focus on the Family’s – “Truth Project” – A Christian Worldview Tour:
Funny, the YouTube video shows 15 years old, but I went to a Del Tacket facilitator 2 day in person seminar, covering these thirteen one hour presentations in Houston, Texas over 20 years ago. We used in men’s bible study groups, having a discussion for each lesson with pre-assigned bible verses that support the lecture, for a total class length of 26 weeks. It was sorely needed then, and is even moreso now. George Barna conducted a nationwide survey that determined only 9% of self proclaimed Christians hold a biblical worldview even, though over 50% said they had a biblical worldview going in. (See link below). Check out the list of beliefs that aren’t biblical. Clearly, we have a biblical illiteracy problem in the christian community.
