Camping In The Forever

Tuesday, July 21, 2026

“Psalm 37:27 says, “Depart from evil, and do good, and dwell forevermore.” The Hebrew word ‘dwell’ is ‘shakan.’ Shakan can be translated as ‘set up your tent.’ But the word ‘evermore’ is the word ‘olam’, which is also the word for ‘eternity.’ ‘Olam’ is both an earthly word and a heavenly word, joined together. It can be ‘world’ but also ‘eternity.’ The truth is, your earthly life is to be joined to an eternal life. Eternal life is not just for later or after we die. We’re to pitch our tent in the heavens now. It says in the same verse just before, “depart from evil and do good…” There’s a link. Depart from evil – the sinful life and the old nature. And as that old life fades, heavenly life will become more real. It will become real when you learn the secret of leaving the old life and entering the tent of heaven, dwelling in His presence and His glory. Put away the temporary so that you can enter the eternal. Put away evil, do good, and shakan olam – dwell in the forever of His glory, now.”

From Message #524 – Trust in the Lord
Scripture: Psalm 37:27

TODAY’S MISSION – Today, take time to learn what it means and practice setting up your tent in the olam, dwelling in the heavenlies.

“Even if we could live 100 years, 100 years divided by eternity is the limit approaching zero, basic pre-calculus. Heaven is the opposite: (Eternity minus 100 years) , divided by eternity is the limit approaching infinity. So many fellow souls are trapped in a fog, focusing everything on the things of this world. So, how insane is that?: Putting everything into a known payout of -0- and putting absolutely nothing into an eternal payout that encompasses incomprehensible eternal joy.

It’s either everything into nothing or everything into everything. Logically, if christians have only 1% chance of being right, one would still put everything into His kingdom. But any probability less than the limit percentage of infinity is implausible. Why? The Bible has too many (300+) prophecies that found fulfillment many years later, even thousands of years.

Check out the staggering probability that the Bible is true!:

You know what? That is where we would be if not for the grace of God! So if we see the obvious, we have an imperative, the Great Commission, fully deployed as God’s mere messengers. We are the watchman!, Ezekiel 33: 1 – 29. Praise God! the fear of the Lord comes over me whenever I read and pray over that passage.

Soli Deo Gloria!
