The border town of Eagle Pass, Texas, population under 30,000 people ,had 25,000 migrants invade their community in July. Eagle Pass sits 140 miles southwest of San Antonio. There is basically nothing in between, excepting Uvalde about halfway with a population of 15k people. El Paso used to be a fine city with a metro population of around 800k. The El Paso sector of the CBP is reporting 2,000 migrants a day crossing the border.
