07/09/2020 – Day 039 – Psalms 15 – 17

Just three short verse quoes from our reading that connect with readings over the past week, particularly today’s reading (Job 11 – 12).

“.. But he honors those who fear the Lord;” Psalm 15 – 4

-“My goodness is nothing apart from You.” Psalm 16-2.

-Psalm 17! – David’s “Prayer with Confidence in Final Salvation” –

“As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in your likeness” – concluding verse in this chapter 17.

So, how was David the prolific Christian warrior able to keep it together when all hell was breaking loose in this world for him? I submit this verse was a contributor – an engrained faith no matter what. When everybody around you is losing their head….
