A quote from Alistair’s sermon:
“We’re so broken that we can’t fix ourselves. And the way that God has decided to fix our brokenness is by breaking his only beloved Son.”
We just can’t understand fully so we ask: “Why does God allow suffering?” If It is a brother or sister in Christ, right in the midst of this personal suffering: “I submit but with rare exception it is better to give them a hug, cry with them, and pray with them, than to give the root answer , a recent quote from Joni Earackson Tada:
“God permits what he hates. to accomplish what He loves.”
Yes, from Alistair’s quote: I think we can all fully agree that God the Father is well acquainted with personal suffering.
