02/05/2021 – Day 264 – Proverbs 25 / “[It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing…”

and the verse continues: “But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” It is not like the verse confused me but I sensed I wasn’t appropriately reflecting on its depth. So, I am so thankful for the Holy Spirit leading me to the single commentary on the verse:

So, the 2nd part is connected to the king searching out God’s Word and His truth in directing civil government. So, hopefully, God can be glorified through it. We just read this week about Solomon first asking God for wisdom , in governing the people of Israel. What a great first step!

And note that this commentary points at the end to Job 29:16 : “I was a father to the needy , and I examined the case of the stranger.” My younger brother asked me a while back: “Who do you think the greatest president was in our liftetime.” I thought that was a good question since my life takes me back all the way to Eisenhower. (Kennedy in my brother’s case.)

How do you think Joe Biden will fair when all is said and done on this matter? There is no shortage of talk on caring for the needy there. But what has been his walk for nearly a half century in Washington D.C? He certainly “took care” of his family. He made sure that Hunter was enriched through his position in the government. But what has he done for the common man? Did anyone explore his track record in Delaware as a senator? He certainly took care of the credit card companies. Anybody wonder why large corporations have domiciled predominately in Delaware in recent history?

From my days in the Army Security Agency, Joe is completely “compromised”, in that he has been bought and paid for by the Chinese. How did that help the needy and the stranger in this country? His position on abortion: “Choice”. Indeed, his choice, not God’s choice! Even if in reality he only got say 45 % of the vote, I still say “Bad choice America!” Even 30% is a disgrace. The “fear of the Lord” certainly did not come into play at all in that choice! And ignorance is not bliss either!

I am certainly struck with the fear of the Lord on this from the standpoint, “Could I have done more to prevent this?” (Sins of omission, if not commision, at least initially) Answer : Yes! Does fear of the Lord come over me at all for calling Biden and his fellow minions of Satan out here? Quick answer: No !!! So it calls for personal repentence, for God forgives through His amazing love. Move forward – Ephesians 6:13!; and, resolve to sin no more: “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him much will be required.” (Luke 12:48)

Soli Deo Gloria!
