Unclouding The Glory

Friday, February 21, 2025

In the days of the Temple, the glory of God appeared in the Holy of Holies. The high priest was allowed to enter the sacred chamber only once a year. He was instructed to burn incense that created a cloud because God’s Glory was too great to behold. The Anon Ha-Ketoret; the cloud of incense was part of the sacred instructions God gave to Israel. But in the New Covenant, with the blood of Messiah, we are to enter the Holy place with no cloud. And yet many believers tend to make their own cloud. They cloud up His Word with compromise. They blur the lines of what it clearly says. They say “you can’t really take it literally,” “it’s not for today,” or “it’s not for me.” Could that be you? The problem with living in this cloud is that you’ll never fully experience the glorious life He has for you. When you cloud His Word, your entire life becomes cloudy and without glory. In order to live a life that’s glorious, take God at His Word. Go all out with it, and you will live a glorious life with no clouds in sight.

From Message #614 – The Incense And The Glory
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:17

TODAY’S MISSION – Today, ask the Lord to clear away any cloudy area in your heart and life. And take the Word of God clearly, absolutely, and at full strength.
