As noted within the 04/25/2021 post, our first Semikkah7 cycle, the “fear” in 4:18 speaks to fear of man and the devil, not “the fear of the LORD”!
“Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10
